Energy

Pacific Gas & Electric Co.: 1918 H St., Bakersfield, 800-743-5000, www.pge.com. Call for information about hooking up your gas and electricity in most of Bakersfield and western Kern County, except Delano. PG&E provides some services to Arvin, Bear Valley Springs, Boron, Buttonwillow, Edwards Air Force Base, Ford City, Golden Hills, Lamont, Lost Hills, McFarland, Maricopa, Mojave, Oildale, Ridgecrest, Shafter, Taft, Tehachapi and Wasco.

Southern California Edison: Call 800-655-4555 for information about hooking up electricity in Delano, Lake Isabella, Tehachapi and all of eastern Kern County.

The Gas Company: Call 800-427-2200 for gas service to Arvin, parts of Bakersfield, Buttonwillow, Delano, Frazier Park, Lamont, McFarland, Oildale, Shafter, Taft, Tehachapi and Wasco.
