Kern River Archers Club: Uses outdoor range in Lake Isabella. Open to the public the second and fourth Sundays of each month. Visiting the range is free; shooting at the range costs $10 per person. Applications for California Bowman Hunters, National Field Archery Association and State Archery Association are available. State invitational archery tournaments, open to the public, are held at the range during the last week of October and first week of April. Contact Sandy or Gary McCain, 823-9474.

Second Amendment Sports: 2523 Mohawk St. League shoots, fishing seminars, firearms training, outdoor archery lanes. Archery League the last Friday night of every month open to the public, with prize giveaways. 323-4512.
