A 60-bed acute rehabilitation hospital treating a variety of physical disabilities. Owned by Alabama-based HealthSouth Corp., which has more than 1,200 facilities in 50 states, Puerto Rico, Australia and England. The hospital offers physical rehabilitation inpatient and outpatient services including support groups and education classes on illnesses such as arthritis, asthma and strokes. No surgery facilities are on-site.
They also operate a satellite outpatient facility: Tehachapi Physical Therapy, 815 Tucker Road, Tehachapi 822-2001.
