Jury Services: 1661 L St., 868-4700, 800-648-8444, www.kern.courts.ca.gov/jury. Jurors are selected randomly from data provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles and Kern County Elections Division. Jurors are paid mileage at 34 cents per mile one way and $15 a day beginning on the second day of service. Jury group reporting dates and times, parking information, directions and general information can be viewed on the Web site.
