The Scottish Society of Central California presents its annual Kirkin’ o’ the Tartan. This is a century-old traditional ceremony that honors Scottish heritage. Each clan is called forward to place their tartan on the altar rail for the blessing of the tartans. The blessings praise the faith and fortitude of the clan fathers, and honor the noble tradition that Scots proudly share.
