KernLife.com is a Web site operated by The Bakersfield Californian dedicated to everything you need to know about living in Kern County. The newspaper also prints an annual magazine called Kern Life with much of the information found on this site.

For a copy of the magazine, visit The Californian lobby between 8 and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 1707 Eye Street in downtown Bakersfield. Copies cost $1.50 each.

The Web site offers expanded listings plus maps, videos, and more. The interactivity of the site allows you to create your own free profile and connect with other KernLife.com users with similar interests. You can also post your own blogs, articles and events to the site.
