Skateboarding is always popular in Kern County. When you have the urge to roll, we can help you locate where to go. All Kern County skate parks require some form of safety equipment. Check with the specific park for rules and regulations. Beach Park Skate Park: Oak and 21st streets, on the west side of the park close to the bike path in Bakersfield. Open 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Helmet, elbow pads and knee pads are required. Skateboards and inline skates are permitted; bikes and scooters are not. 326-3866.
