Discussion Topic: Sewing classes, anyone?   Posted By

I have a sewing machine that has never been used, given to me two years ago. I want to learn how to use it, and perhaps make something like curtains or a dress. Anyone know of any basic sewing classes around Bakersfield?

 hi jenni,

if you want  to learn how to use a sewing machine, you need not much worry, it's very simple

There are many house magazine related to sewing you can take help from them. But in fistly you try only  on curtains. But after some time , you will be able to sewing dressess.

Funny you should ask.  Just last night I took Sewing 101 at the Craft Gym.  I had never even looked at a sewing machine and I made a pillow.  They offer other sewing classes, too.  I would recommend them, but the classes fill up fast.
