Hi, my husband and I will be moving to Bakersfield in August 2007! I will be attending Cal State Bakersfield. I have extensive customer service/call center experience. Any good job leads? What are the largest companies in Bakersfield?

Hi there- My son, a pilot, and his family live in Bakersfield and will be moving to LA in August to be closer to LAX. 

Recommend that you call Point Loma University , as my daughter-in-law has worked there for years as a Customer Service FInancial Analyist and she will be transferring to another campus in the LA  area.    

They also have a beautiful home for rent in Bakersfield.  4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2050 square feet, built in 2005, great back yard.

Apply to The Bakersfield Californian! I love it here! Great benefits & wonderful environment. It seems like our HR department is always looking for good people in our classifed call center and as customer service reps.

State Farm is also headquartered here and that may be another good company to check into.
