New Places
I've been checking out a lot of local spots since I've been here but I want to know about the landmark places. Things I must try or do while I'm here. Any suggestions? 2 comments from 2 users

Depends on what you like to do. When we have visitors, we like to do the Sunday brunch at the Crystal Palace. It has tons of neat things to look at and the food is fantastic. It's a little pricy, so it's even better with relatives who pay! If you just want to hang out, we also like just waking around at the River Walk park. There's playgrounds for kids, a stream to frolic in and the trail is right there if you want to burn some calories. posted by

I've been here for a year now but still haven't been to Brunch at the Crystal Palace. It's at the top of my list. I'll have to treat myself and take visiting family some where cheap. :) Check out the places I have been in Bakersfield at http://www.thescoopbakersfi... Thanks!!!
